Overview of the department
This department equips trainees with the practical and technical skills needed for successful careers in Ethiopia’s growing automotive and transportation industry. Trainees receive hands-on training in vehicle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance, preparing them to work with modern automotive technologies and provide high-quality service to meet the demands of both private and commercial transport sectors.
Collaboration with Industry:- Partnerships with automotive companies may provide trainees with internship opportunities and insights into current industry practices.

Certification & Duration:
- Level I – V (TVET) or Diploma in the field of study occupations
- Certification: National TVET Certificate awarded by CoC (Certificate of Competence) after assessment
- Duration:
- Regular (Day) Program: 1–3 years depending on level
- Extension(Night or Weekend) Program: 2–4 years (part-time)
- Short-term Courses: few days to 3 months (skill upgrading or specialization)
