Overview of the department

The electrical and electronics sector is a rapidly growing and important technological pillar in the modern world. Our Electrical and Electronics Department also plays a leading role in preparing trainees for this dynamic field. Our department offers a wide range of academic fields, from the generation, transmission, and distribution of electrical power to the design and implementation of complex electronic systems, electrical electronics equipment technologies, biomedical equipment maintenance, renewable energies, control systems and building electrical installation for residential, industrial, and commercial applications.

Long Term Training

  1. Industrial electrical electronics control technology Level- II – IV
  2. Building electrical installation Level- I – IV
  3. Electrical/Electronic Equipment Servicing Level- II – IV
  4. Solar PV System Installation and Maintenance Level- II – IV
  5. Biomedical Equipment Servicing Level- II – IV

Short Term Training

  1. Maintain and Rewind Electrical Induction Motor
  2. perform installation of Motor Control System
  3. RAC and Washing Machine maintenance training module.
  4. Servicing & Repairing of Mobile Phone
  5. Assembling And Repairing Electrical Mitad And Domestic Appliances
  6. Close Circuit Television Camera Installation
  7. Photography and Videography

Certification & Duration:

  • Level I – V (TVET) or Diploma in the field of study occupations
  • Certification: National TVET Certificate awarded by CoC (Certificate of Competence) after assessment
  • Duration:
    • Regular (Day) Program: 1–3 years depending on level
    • Extension(Night or Weekend) Program: 2–4 years (part-time) depending on level
  • Short-term Courses:- few days to 3 months (skill upgrading or specialization)
