Technology Transfer and Industry Extension

Technology Transfer & Industry Extension Services (TTIES)

At Ethio-Italy Polytechnic College, the Research, Technology, and Industry Extension Service, overseen by the vice Dean, drives innovation and practical application by fostering community engagement, advancing STEM culture, and preserving indigenous knowledge.

The unit facilitates technology transfer and industry extension through applied/action research, needs assessments, and best practice dissemination. Emphasizing fabrication engineering and asset-based technology solutions, it promotes effective public-private partnerships (PPP) and organize a central hub for coordinating innovation and skills development.

By maintaining a knowledge bank of cutting-edge ideas and delivering entrepreneurship-focused training (Entreprenalization), the service supports enterprises from concept to market, thereby enhancing technological capacity and economic value within the region.
